The St. Bernard Lodge is an historic bed and breakfast inn and hotel that accommodates singles, families and group vacation rentals. It is strategically located in the heart of Northern California 10 miles west of Chester, CA and Lake Almanor on Highway 36. This scenic year-round highway is the dividing line of the Cascade and Sierra Nevada Mountain ranges.
The accommodations at the lodge consists of 7 cozy, comfortable rooms located upstairs of our full service restaurant and tavern. All rooms are country casual, with luxurious bath robes provided for your convenience as you take a relaxing dip in the outdoor spa. Enjoy your favorite beverage as you play a game of pool or darts in the newly remodeled tavern. With rosewood pub tables and comfortable chairs, the tavern is a perfect place to relax and visit with other guests. |

Located on Hwy. 36E, 10 miles West of Chester, Ca.
From I-5 take Hwy. 36E at Red Bluff, East towards Mt. Lassen Valcanic National Park. Continue on Hwy. 36E for approximately 60 miles. 3 miles past the Hwy. 32 turn off you will see the Lodge on the right side of the highway.
From Chico take Hwy. 32 North to the intersection of Hwy. 36E, approximately 60 miles. Turn right (East)towards Chester. The lodge is on the right side of the highway 3 miles after the turn. |
